We know your teenager is eager and excited to get their driver license and take to the open road. And we’re certainly thrilled to help them get there, but first… every Texas teen, ages 14-17, must enroll in a State-Approved Driver Education course, like ours, and meet specific course requirements.

Our State-Approved, Parent Taught Driving Course is Online, Easy, Affordable, Convenient and includes the DEE964 Certificate of Completion.

A DEE-964 Certificate of Completion is required by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) as part of the Teen Driver Education Permitting & Licensing process.

There are two (2) phases and two (2) separate Certificates of Completion required by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the Teen Driver Education Licensing process;

• One (1) Certificate of Completion for the Learner License (Permit) Application; and
• One (1) Certificate of Completion for the Provisional License Application

Our course includes both Certificates of Completion required by DPS.

To qualify for the Certificates of Completion every Texas teen, ages 14-17, must enroll in a parent taught course like ours and meet specific course requirements.

PHASE I (Learner License):

The first (1st) Certificate of Completion (for Learner License), required by DPS for the Learner License “Permit” application. The student must first complete the minimum state-mandated classroom hours and then take & pass the “Official Permit Test,” which we offer through our course.

Please note that per DPS rules, a person must be at least 15 years of age to test and apply for a Learner License.
